Youth Classes

Little Flyers (5-6 years)

We start our aerialists as early as age 5, and have a specific class just for our little flyers that gets kids up in the air, while focusing on body awareness, hand-eye coordination and safety. Kiddos will explore silks, trapeze, pole and lyra (aerial hoop) in a fun, supportive environment that encourages play and exploration.

Progression advice: if your kiddo has taken Little Flyers, and turns 7, they are advised to take Youth Aerial Semester 1

Youth Classes, Apparatus Specific (9-12 years)

We offer the following specific apparatus classes for beginners ages 9-12 (or Youth Aerial graduates):

-Youth Silks 1a

-Youth Trapeze 1a

-Youth Lyra 1a (Aerial Hoop)

Students will connect aerial skills and learn sequences/routines using the progressive curriculum we’ve created just for our youth aerialists. These classes move at a faster pace to challenge our older youth aerialists.

Youth Aerial (7-8 years)

We offer a specific class just for 7-8 year olds that offers more challenges and a structured curriculum for younger aerialists, but is still based in fun and fostering body awareness. Youth aerialists will learn the beginning skills in silks, trapeze, pole and lyra (aerial hoop) in this all apparatus class.

Semester 1: For brand new beginners or Little Flyers graduates

Semester 2: For students who have passed Semester 1 or have instructor approval (may have taken summer camp, or private lessons in aerial)

Progression advice: if your kiddo has taken Semester 1 and/or Semester 2 of Youth Aerial and turns 9, they are advised to join the 9-12 year old cohorts in specific apparatuses (Youth Trapeze 1a, Youth Silks 1a, Youth Lyra 1a).

Teen Classes (13-16 years)

We offer the following specific apparatus classes for beginner teens:

-Teen Silks 1a

-Teen Trapeze 1a

-Teen Lyra 1a

The teen classes follow the pace of the adult curriculum, and work on technique, skills and routines. Teens 16+ may have the option to join adult classes instead, please reach out to us if you have questions.

Interested in taking classes? We'd love to teach you!

Our Fall 2023 semester is 15 weeks long (August 24th - December 16th with a week off for Thanksgiving, and a break October 12 and 13). We teach all of our leveled classes (i.e. silks 1a, trapeze 2b, etc.) based on our progressive curriculum, therefore, we close all leveled classes to new students on September 13th . Safety and basic technique will be taught in the first few classes; after that, classes become too advanced to accommodate new students. We hope you join us for all 15 weeks! All conditioning, flexibility and open gym classes are open to drop ins all semester long.

Drop In Policy: Please contact us if you wish to purchase a drop in for a leveled class (ex: Silks 1a, Trapeze 1a, etc). Purchasing a drop in does not guarantee a spot for you in class. We are an aerial school, and run a semester of 12-15 week classes. After week 2, we do not allow drop ins or new students without a private lesson. If you would like to reserve your spot in a class, please purchase your semester tuition. All aerial fitness, aerial yoga and flexibility classes are drop-in friendly!

  1. Waitlist Policy: If a class is full, you may join the waitlist in case a student drops out of the class. Please do not come to class if you are on the waitlist, we will contact you if a spot opens up.
