For all levels, including absolute beginners, this class will focus on learning basic partner acrobatics poses and transitions, then synthesizing them together.
If you're a more advanced beginner, or intermediate partner acro student who feels confident in basic poses, more challenging transitions will be offered in the form of washing machines (sequences that start and end in the same place).
Washing machines are so varied, that makes them the best way to boost your movement vocabulary. Learn the poses and transitions and you can put together complex and beautiful flows in this fun workshop with Jacob!
There are no pre-requisites for this workshop.
Instructor Bio: Jacob got into gymnastics when he was sixteen and ended up teaching for ten years. In 2010 a friend introduced him to acro and he fell in love with this art form right away. He loved how all acrobatics moves are like puzzles which you work out with your friends. Jacob is known for making dozens of washing machines and for putting hundreds of acrobatics videos on his YouTube channel. In 2014 Jacob became a certified Acro Love Teacher in the first ever class of 2014 and has taught at several Acro Love Teacher Trainings since.
