Tuition Assistance

We offer need-based partial scholarships for students who cannot afford classes on a payment plan. Please apply; we love helping people get up in the air! We believe that our community members should have the ability to participate in the empowering and engaging world of aerial arts, regardless of their financial situation. Since opening our doors in January of 2018 until now, we have given over $10,000 in tuition assistance to applicants!

Tuition Assistance Applications is open for the 2025 Spring Semester! If you need tuition assistance, consider also applying for funding through the Artist Opportunity Grant, offered by the Arizona Commission on the Arts. These grants are short, and very easy to get! Check the dates that the applications are open, they reset 2x per year.

We love sharing the joy of aerial dance with our community, regardless of an individual or family's financial situation. The application period for Spring 2025 is open until January 12th, but we encourage applications at any point in the semester.  Determinations will be emailed out intermittently, and usually within a week of receiving the application. We do not offer refunds if you have already purchased a semester pass.

Momentum's Tuition Assistance Program is for students who have financial difficulty paying for classes. To serve the most students, the program offers partial scholarships and payment plans to students who demonstrate financial need and who are willing to volunteer at Momentum's shows, events or deep cleans of the studio. We do tuition assistance as a work trade at the equivalent of $23 per hour. Example: if you need $100 in tuition assistance, we'd ask you to volunteer for about 4 hours.

We have around 30-35 hours of volunteer opportunities we need help for each semester! We ask that you help out our community by volunteering your time and/or skills at events like the student showcases, Hungry Hearts, cleaning at the studio, and various other events that Momentum may need help for. Please note: we can only offer so many volunteer opportunities each semester. We will close this application when all volunteer slots are filled.

Momentum Aerial's Tuition Assistance is designed to be broad and inclusive. This means that even if you have applied for and received tuition assistance previously, we invite you to apply again.
